"Hardwired... To Self-Destruct", Metallica's latest album, has topped both the Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts put out by Billboard magazine. It also came in second in their Mainstream Rock Artists chart, right behind Highly Suspect. Though the album actually came out in November of 2016, it went on to sell 1.1 million copies in 2017.
