Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick 2020 tour

In what promises to be one of the more interesting tours of 2020, Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick have announced that they will combine their talents for a North American tour from July 21 to Sept. 5. Cheap Trick will be the opening act.

Musical acts touring in the 2000s have had to come up with novel ideas to draw in audiences. This has been the case especially for acts with older audiences. Cheap Trick and Stewart, both of who have varied and large audiences, should be a combination that will deliver incredible music.

The tour starts in Cleveland on July 21 and ends in Chicago on Sept. 5. Most general tickets will be going on sale at 10AM local time on Jan.10. The current itinerary is shown below, and presently the only Canadian date on the schedule is July 24 in Toronto.

Stewart recently released an orchestral album of some of his older songs, ‘You’re in My Heart,’ has done very well on the charts. Cheap Trick’s most recent release was 2017’s ‘We’re Alright!’
