Rolling Stone magazine is stoking the rumour fires for Motley Crue. They are reporting that the Crue are set to announce a 2020 stadium tour with Def Leppard and Poison.
The band themselves have added fuel to the fire by retweeting a fan request that it returns to the road. Motley Crue’s tweet has since been deleted.

When Motley Crue played its final tour, concluding on Dec. 31, 2015, at the Forum in their hometown of LA, there was “Cessation of Touring Agreement.” Crue bassist Nikki Sixx said in 2014, “Legally, we can’t play again. The only loophole is if all four band members agreed to do it – but we know that will never happen. There are people in this band who will refuse to ever do it again, and I’m one of them. There is no amount of money that would ever make me do it again because I have such pride in how we’re ending it.”
Many things have changed in the five years that Sixx made his statement, so it will be interesting to see whether Rolling Stone is right with their announcement and if a change of heart has come with Crue members.
