As was reported yesterday, Tommy Lee and his son Brandon, were involved in an altercation at Tommy’s house, that left the Motley Crue drummer with a bloodied lip. Now, Brandon has spoken out about the altercation that took place on Monday night.
Brandon Lee, 21, blamed the drama on “an intervention” for his father that went wrong. He issued the following statement to People magazine:
I’m devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father’s alcoholism. I’ve worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it’s incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition. I wanted my dad’s hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations, I feel forced to speak out. I have and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as needed. I love my father and just want to see him sober, happy and healthy.”
And of course, Tommy had to offer a response. Via Twitter, he denied his son’s accusation of alcoholism:
“LMAAAO!!!! I’m happier than I’ve been in my entire life. I have a few drinks here & there because I’m retired and enjoying my life. You didn’t arrange any intervention, you barely spoke to me while u were here. See ya later social media! Can’t read anymore liesss.”
According to the reports, Brandon allegedly punched Tommy in the face while defending himself during a drunken brawl. The 55-year-old drummer posted a photo of his bloodied, swollen lip on Instagram, but later deleted the picture.
Brandon is one of the two children Tommy had with Pam Anderson, along with 20-year-old Dylan.
