It’s only just beginning, but the onslaught that is Greta Van Fleet is about to hit high gear. If it wasn’t obvious before that they are hitting the mainstream media, here’s the proof: the hotshot rockers will be appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The appearance, scheduled for Thursday, July 26, will see band likely performing their new single, “When The Curtain Falls,” which was released at midnight on Tuesday, July 17.
The band’s arrival on Fallon’s show is significant – they’ve been mainly a YouTube and hard rock radio sensation, prior to playing their home state Michigan clubs for a few years. Fallon’s acknowledgement is certainly set to open up more eyes and ears as the band get set for their first full-length album release. That release is tentatively due later this year. As lead singer Josh Kiszka recently confirmed, “We’re reshaping it and then get into mastering and hopefully release it soon. It’s looking like late summer.”
